These are 100% non-stretch nylon, made in France on the same machines that made them in the 1940's. They are flat knitted and sewn toghether at the seam from the toe to the finishing hole in the welt at the top of the stockings. The reinforcement goes from the toe and foot, up the traditional square Cuban style heel. The seam is in a contrasting color for a more prominent effect. The seams on these stockings are black.
